Pet policy

We are pleased to have you and your pet as our guests at Hotel Auronzo.

We have outlined a few simple guidelines that will help ensure the safety and comfort of you, other guests and our staff whilst you visit our hotel.

  1. Due to the characteristics of the property, only small size pets are allowed (up to 12 kg).
  2. The hotel can only allow guests to bring a maximum of 2 pets per room to the hotel.
  3. The hotel will take payment of €20 per night, to defray cleaning costs of returning the bedroom to such a clean state as to be suitable to anyone with a pet allergy.
  4. If you forgot something, such as bowls, food or brush, try and ask reception, we will do our best to help you.
  5. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet whilst both in the hotel and within its immediate vicinity, such as outside the hotel’s entrance or within the Hotel Car Park. This is particularly important in case of mud or snow. You can find cleaning equipment and refuse bags near the pet station located just outside the hotel.
  6. Due to potential disturbances to other guests, such as barking, we ask that pets are not left unattended in guestrooms for any period. Being alone in a strange environment can cause them distress.
  7. Should this be unavoidable, please ensure that Front Office has been notified- Any disturbance must be curtailed to safeguard our guests’ rights to privacy and a peaceful stay.
  8. To comply with health and safety regulations, access to the breakfast room is permitted to owners only.
  9. When outside of your guestroom, pets must be on a short leash or in a pet carrier.
  10. You with your pet will be required to vacate the bedroom area fully whilst the service is carried out – this is for yours and the staff members safety and happiness.
  11. The hotel reserves the right to charge you the amount which the hotel will incur to repair our facilities for any damage caused by your pet.
  12. The guest needs to confirm that the pet has all required and up-to-date vaccinations and inoculations and does not have any communicable illnesses, diseases or pests.
  13. If the hotel determines in its sole discretion that the pet is objectionable to other hotel guests or visitors, it is the responsibility of the owner to make immediate arrangements to house the pet outside of the hotel or supervised in the bedroom at all times.
  14. In the event of non-compliance with any of the rules, the hotel reserves the right to revoke the permissions granted for the pet’s stay.
